Well folks.. its that time of year again! Cracked, rough, dry, flaky skin is upon us. Never fear! Kelsi Paige has officially found the solution. You know what sucks? That I found the solution 26 years late! Its true, since I was a bitty baby I've had all sorts of sensitive skin issues. As a kid going to summer camp and daycare with all my friends was all fun and games till someone noticed or touched my bumpy red skin. My mom took me to the doctors multiple times to figure out what these little red bumps were, and all he gave us was "Dry Skin". I even remember him saying that sunscreen helps. Well, let me be the first to tell you it doesn't help. I could never get rid of the little suckers. They were all down the back of my arms and shoulders. Not like pimples, just little raised red guys trying to make a statement. Now, these bumps are not to be confused with Eczema, Psoriasis, heat rash, chicken pox, or hives. Been there and done all of that. They are actually called, "Keratosis Pilaris", a common, harmless skin condition that causes dry, rough patches and tiny bumps, usually on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks or buttocks. Anyways, they started to go away in middle school, and slowly but surely disappeared in high school through college. Look at me now! A 26 year old woman ready to take on the world, without a bump to hold me back. EH! Wrong. Suddenly out of nowhere I've started to develop the bumps on my thighs and butt! Maybe they never left???? They were just traveling elsewhere. This time, I cared a lot more. I don't want bumpy, rough skin, especially since I shave my legs, and I felt like a razor wouldn't help the situation. I moisturized daily, exfoliated, and skipped shaving my legs for almost 2 months. Still, nothing was changing or progressing. Then I remembered a product that I had been using for another purpose. I had gone out and bought "Bio Oil" back in June for my breast reduction scars. I had felt like the oil helped diminish the harsh scar lines a bit, so I decided one day, why not try this out all over my body to see if it could improve hydration and make these red bumps go away too? Well, three treatments of Bio Oil later and I am as smooth as a babies bottom! No joke the red bumps diminished more and more with each treatment. My skin is seriously so smooth and healthy looking. The best part? The oil is used sparingly which lasts you for a long time, and is only $8.99 for a small bottle. I've heard other great results through the grapevine too. My cousin used the oil throughout all three of her pregnancies and didn't get one stretch mark! AMAZING. I didn't believe it at first, I seriously thought, what are the odds that this small $8.00 bottle of oil could correct all these things over the $200 scar cream my surgeon initially gave me?? Although this might be irrelevant to some people.. apparently Khloe Kardashian also loves this stuff. Whether shes getting paid to say that or not, you heard it HERE first, and I can promise you I'm not getting paid to say this!-LOL. So for any of you out there that suffers from these annoying bumps, dry skin, stretch marks, or scars, try this out! You can find it at Target, Ulta Beauty, Amazon, and Walmart! I hope this helps you as much as its helped me! Link to buy up top!
